Offering a constantly changing menu of fish, meat vegetarian and vegan dishes.
We try to source our ingredients as locally as possible which means the menu varies with the seasons. This also means the menu changes constantly so items & prices do change frequently according to seasonality, availability, and market price fluctuations, but we do put prices down as well as up!!
Chefs Nikki & Sally prepare all the items on the menu on site so as a guest you can confidently ask 'what's in it?' Dishes range from traditional pub food such as Steak and Kidney Pie with shortcrust pastry lid, jug of gravy, sauté potatoes and vegetables to specialities such as fish stew, Bouillabaisse style stock with mixed fish & shellfish as available, served with garlic bread. There are usually 2 or 3 other fish dishes, steak, duck and game, plus an extensive range of vegetarian & vegan dishes such as Chippie Halloumi and Cashew and Walnut Roast.
...and of course there are always delicious desserts too, not to mention our sumptuous Sunday roasts.

Pub closed from Monday 22nd April, reopening at lunch on Saturday 4th May.

Our ethos is, if we can we will so just ask. Many customers phone to request a previously enjoyed dish or dessert, and as long as there is time to source or make we will endeavour to provide. The same goes for any allergies so please let us know.
